When choosing a landline connection, your GE control panel uses your standard landline telephone connection to communicate any trouble with Guardians Monitoring facility. This is the standard connection.
Wireless Monitoring
When you select cellular monitoring, your alarm system will include a built-in Alarm.com cellular card that connects to Guardians monitoring facility. There is no need for a landline, home phone or internet connection. And since it is a cellular connection, no need to be concerned with a potential thief cutting the phone lines.
Two Way Voice monitoring
In the event of an alarm, No Need to look for your phone when you should be figuring out how to protect your family and yourself, we will talk to you directly through the keypad. Two-way Voice Monitoring Service allows you to communicate directly through the keypad to Guardians monitoring station when you need it the most. When the alarm is triggered at your home, the security system uses your landline or our wireless monitoring to communicate with Guardians monitoring facility. Once we have received that signal, Guardian will be able to communicate with you directly through the talking command station to verify the problem and respond accordingly.
